The Right R4 for the Right DS

Step 1There are 2 types of R4, one for the Standard DS console another for the DSi Console. To know which DS you have just look at the front of your DS Console.

Step 2If you have a standard DS then you need to buy an R4 card (Shown below). We recommend 2 types:

R4V2 + 2GB MicroSD

R4SDHC + 4GB MicroSD

Step 3If you have a DSi console then you need to buy an R4i card (Shown below). We also recommend 2 types:

R4i + 2GB MicroSD

R4i + 4GB MicroSD
